Boy in a Backpack is one of five shorts selected for an incubator program led by Josh Hutcherson (The Kids Are All Right, The Hunger Games) and sponsored by Indigenous Media. The film will play on Conde Nast's online distribution platform. Originally a feature, the script has been adapted into a short for this incubator program — from which the producers at Indigenous will select projects to produce as feature-length projects.
